Terms & Conditions

Effective date: June 30, 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to use of the ChineseDubSub website and to inquiries, quotes, uploads, and service requests unless a separate signed agreement says otherwise.

1. Agreement

By using this website, requesting a quote, uploading files, or ordering services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you are acting for a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.

2. Services

ChineseDubSub provides Chinese voice-over, dubbing, subtitles, translation, localization, voice casting, recording coordination, and audio mixing services. Final scope, deadlines, fees, deliverables, and revision limits are confirmed in the quote, proposal, invoice, or written project confirmation.

3. Quotes and Payments

Quotes are based on the project details supplied by the client, including language, duration, script length, file quality, usage, turnaround, talent requirements, and deliverables. Additional work, urgent delivery, script changes, new versions, or expanded usage may require additional fees.

4. Client Materials and Rights

You are responsible for ensuring that you own or have permission to use all scripts, videos, audio, images, trademarks, music, subtitles, references, and other materials you provide. You grant us permission to use your materials only as needed to quote, produce, review, and deliver the project.

5. Voice Talent and Usage

Voice demos are provided for casting and evaluation. Usage rights for final recordings depend on the agreed project scope. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, you may not resell, clone, train AI systems on, or reuse voice samples beyond the approved project and usage terms.

6. Revisions

Reasonable revisions may be included when caused by our production error or within the agreed revision scope. Script changes, creative redirection, new timing requirements, or new client instructions after approval may be billed separately.

7. Delivery and Review

Delivery timelines are estimates unless expressly confirmed as fixed. Delays caused by missing files, unclear instructions, late approvals, third-party platforms, or client-side changes may affect delivery dates.

8. Website Use

You agree not to misuse the website, upload unlawful or harmful content, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with site security, or use the website in a way that violates applicable law.

9. Intellectual Property

The website design, text, branding, graphics, demos, and service presentation are owned by ChineseDubSub or its licensors. Project deliverable ownership and license terms are governed by the relevant quote or written agreement.

10. Confidentiality

We treat non-public client project materials as confidential and use them only for service delivery. If your project requires a separate NDA, please request it before sending sensitive materials.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or lost-profit damages. Our total liability for a project is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
